George grew up in the heart of the American Mid-West playing classical music, but fell in love with Irish traditional music in the early 1990's at sessions in Chicago. He’s been in Boston for the best part of 20 years. Martin, originally from New Jersey, learnt his trad hanging out at sessions in New York City in the mid-90’s, & took up the bouzouki in a serious way while living in Galway. This first reel is a great fiddle tune, while The Cedars of Lebanon is a noted Sean Ryan composition.

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
