Helena hails from Lackagh, Turloughmore, in Co. Galway, while Seán is from Fedamore in Co. Limerick. Both are regulars at The Druid’s Saturday session. Owen, from Vermont, is an exceptional accompanist who plays in & around Boston. The first of these jigs is a well-known composition of Sean Ryan’s, while The Fly in the Porter is a composition of Tipperary’s Paddy O’Brien.

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
